The Galapagos Explorer is built in Italy in 1990, with an overall length of 89,35 m and reaching 17 knots, the Galapagos Yacht 1 is the newest and most elegant of the vessels cruising the Galapagos´s waters.

Designed to provide comfort and sientific information to 100 passengers visiting the Galapagos National Park, this vessel reaches the remotest islands of the Archipelago. Fully air contitioned, the ship offer  52 suites of classic lines, television with VCR´s, refrigerated-bar and satellite communications. With a desalinization plant, the vessel produces its own fresh water.

The Galapagos Explorer, is however, more than just a cruise liner. It is a vessel adapted to ecoturism operations that provides environmental education and interpretation on the Galapagos. Our expert naturalist guides o board will give you lectures about the natural history of the Archipelago, as well guided experiences on the islands.
